One of the largest Poker Skins on the Winning Poker Network announced on Wednesday that they will drop the rake contribution from the players on all Limit games.
Their drop is an attempt to meet the competitive levels of which both PokerStars and Merge Gaming network are operating on in terms of Rake Contribution from the poker players.
The drops in the high stakes games will be a passive drop from 5% down to 1% in rake contribution and at the other overall tables the maximum possible would be set at 4,5%.
Americas Cardroom is one of the few still left on the US market accepting US Poker Players to their site. Although the ongoing issues on the US market, Americas Cardroom are performing very well and have a very satisfied customers. Their poker games are very soft, but also their deposit and withdrawal cashier is working very well with short payouts for US players.
By lowering the rake contribution of the rake for the limit games players, the poke room is doing a strong attempt to attract limit players from the other US accepting poker networks.
Americas Cardoom got a great boost of player liquidity last year when they purchased Doyles Room and merged them into to Winning Poker Network. They are now sitting at the 5th largest US accepting poker networks.
“Our goal isn’t to just be competitive, it’s to be the top destination in the US for online poker players,” Said the Americas Poker spokesman Michael Harris in their prerelease. Further; “The realignment of our rake structure coupled with the fact that we’re the #1 site for reliable payment processing now makes us a clear favorite.”
